If you think a cowboy, cowgirl or rodeo stock has deserved the right to be inducted into the Canadian Rodeo Hall of Fame, then we want to know about it! Carefully review the following criteria for the category of your choice, then fill out the form below completely.
Qualifying Criteria For The Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame Nominations For Induction:
1. Contestant
a) Any Canadian who has become a World Champion will become eligible three years after retirement.
b) Canadian Champions of a MAJOR Pro Rodeo Event will become eligible three years after retirement.
2. Builder
a) Stock Contractor - actively engaged in Canadian Pro Rodeo for a period of a least 10 years with a distinguished performance record over that time is eligible for induction.
b) Canadian Contract Personnel ( Announcers, clowns, bull fighters, specialty acts, pick up men) actively engaged in Canadian Pro Rodeo for a period of at least 10 years with a distinguished performance over that time is eligible for induction.
c) Rodeo Committee Members actively engaged in Canadian Pro Rodeo for a period of at least 10 years with a distinguished performance record over that time period is eligible for induction.
3. Animal
Any animal that has shown outstanding or exceptional performance in rodeo over a period of time, may have been named Canadian or World Horse of the Year, but not necessarily.
4. LEGEND
a) Must have been a competing cowboy/cowgirl in Canadian Pro Rodeo
b) Achievements WILL NOT allow a person to be inducted into the Hall of Fame in any category.
c) Records or achievements performed in the rodeo arena have reached legendary status.
d) The person’s name has grown to become synonymous with the sport of rodeo.
e) The person’s record or achievements and contributions have been a way of life for them (longevity).
f) In short, the person has become Legendary in his/her support, achievements and contributions to Canadian Pro Rodeo.
