In two days we formally celebrate our 2022 Class of Inductees. It wouldn't be possible without the continued support of sponsors such as Montana Silversmiths, and Ted Stovin.
Thank you.
We're excited to have Ponoka Stampede on board as a sponsor again this year.
We have entered into a great partnership with the Ponoka Stampede, as we'll be hosting a few shared events in the coming months.
We look forward to a great partnership, and thank them for their support at our upcoming banquet.
Today we extend our sincere thanks to JP Veitch and family.
JP and family have been huge supporters of the Canadian Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame for many years, in many capacities and we are extremely grateful for their continued support. As a former CFR qualifier, JP is very familiar with the rodeo world, and graciously gives back to it.
We are honored to be part of the JP Veitch and Family Scholarship, and commend JP on his choice to award five lucky recipients in its first year. Congratulations Katie Bews, Beau Gardner, Tegan Poitras, Payton Scoville and Waci Thomson, on receiving this honor.
Today, we recognize another great sponsor: Innisfail Auction Market. Home to a couple of our inductees, the Daines family and Innisfail Auction Market have supported us for many years, and we are so grateful to them. We have the added bonus this year of having our 2004 inductee, Duane Daines as our live auction at the induction banquet.
Today, we showcase the Canadian Professional Rodeo Association, as our valued sponsor. The CPRA has supported us for many years, and we are grateful for the connection with have with them. They never fail to help us out with great photos, and additional insight on our inductees. If you aren't already one of their followers, be sure to mark them as a favorite today - and check out their upcoming posts!
With our Induction Banquet fast approaching, we wanted to take this opportunity to showcase our amazing sponsors. This event could not happen without the support of the Strathmore Ag Society http://strathmoreag.com inconjunction with the Strathmore Stampede. Without their facilities and countless volunteers assisting us, our event would not be the success it is.
Please join us in thanking the Strathmore Ag Society for their support to the Canadian Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame.
We're proud to announce our 2022 Inductions Banquet will be held May 13, 2023 in Strathmore, AB.
We hope you'll plan to join us in celebrating our inductees: Robert Bell, Mike Copeman, Dusty LaValley, Bill Reeder, VJV Slash and Legend: Greg Rumohr.

The (Bezanson) Grande Prairie area cowboy honed his bareback riding skills in western Texas college, at Snyder, TX. LaValley put the world on notice in 2004 when he earned the PRCA Resistol Rookie of the Year title in the Bareback riding. Qualifying for his first of thirteen Canadian Finals in 2003 LaValley captured Canada's highest honors in 2006/2007/2010 and 2011. Winning large rodeos all over North America, LaValley has a credential bio that is too long to list. His standout performance at the NFR in 2008 saw LaValley place in 6 out of 10 rounds, and finish 3rd in the average. Dusty qualified for the NFR again in 2010. Season leader awards, circuit tour championships, high marked rides at prestigious rodeos throughout North America were just some of Dusty's accomplishments. Always a student of the sport, Dusty worked at honing his craft and athleticism throughout his professional career.
LaValley is undoubtedly one of the best bareback riders to have ever come out of Canada, and has earned his place among the heros in our Canadian Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame.
